I know I haven’t hit on what exactly I am going to be doing while I am over there. Also, I haven’t talked about the problems that the people have over there or how we intend on being the solution. 

So as you know I am going on a mission trip to Central America, South America, and Africa. The people there face many problems including: sex trafficking, drug abuse, alcoholism, child abuse, crime,  extreme poverty, class inequality, hopelessness, shortage of basic necessities, and the list goes on. Some of the same problems we have in America but at much higher rates and more extreme conditions. The sad truth is some of these things are seen as normal in these places. Unlike here in America where we are truthfully privileged to be able to live like we do. 

What we will do we go on the World Race is have a long and lasting impact while just being there for a short term. We will be doing all types of work, teaching, and evangelizing on this mission trip. We will be helping build buildings, paint, clean, dig ditches for irrigation, have community outreaches, and many other types of work to help those people in third world countries. But most importantly we will spread love and hope to these people. Most times when people don’t have much all it takes is a hope and love to bring joy back into their lives. We will be sharing the good news of Jesus everywhere we go, if that be at the airport, at the market, in a village, or on the street just wherever we go we will be the light in the darkness. While also doing more than just telling them about Jesus, we will teach them how to follow Jesus and be a disciple. We will connect them with the closest missionaries or church or body of believers. We aren’t in the business to just tell them about Jesus and leave it at that, we want to make disciples not just simply believers. I believe the love of God can fix all problems!
