So if you read my last blog post I talked a lot about the freedom I received in Honduras. In this blog I want to talk about what debrief looked like, how my route has changed, and what Nicaragua has looked like so far.

Debrief was a really amazing time to spend with the entire squad and the Lord. The first week was filled with debriefs with our teams, the squad, and each person individually. We got poured into a lot by the leaders at A.I.M and the leaders of our squad. We were able to sit down with each of them and have one on one conversations talking about things that happened in Honduras, what the Lord has been doing in my life, what they wanted me to step into and many different things. All of debrief was very fruitful. The first week was so good and left me feeling so full from those conversations and time spent with the entire squad and leaders. The second week of debrief was amazing as well just a bit different. Instead of doing one on one conversations our mentor Stephanie taught on multiple different things. She taught on the Holy Spirit, the voice of God, spiritual warfare, lies of the enemy, all kinds of gifts like service/Five-Fold/Holy Spirit gifts among other activations and teachings. It was an amazing week to get the knowledge she had on all these subjects. It was a really amazing time and opened my eyes to some things that I haven’t been taught on as much.

Also update on my route! I am now going to these places:  Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Panama, Peru for 2 months, then to South Africa, Lesotho! Super excited for this change in the route!

So I also wanted to touch on what is happening in Nicaragua. We are at a ministry sight called R.E.A.P Granada, outside Granada, Nicaragua. There focus isn’t on us coming to join them in doing missionary work but rather them focusing on pouring into us. The heart behind this ministry is building spiritual disciplines and making sure our foundation is strong. They believe by just having intimacy with the father through fasting, prayer, and disciplines it fills our cup and it begins to overflow. A life on mission comes from the place of overflow. Once we start overflowing we want to share the gospel with everyone, and we just pour out the fruits . They don’t want us to just do missional work that can be done without us. They want to make sure we are sons and daughters. A book here we are going through with them is called “Spiritual Slavery to Sonship” by Jack Frost. It is literally so good. If we can ever come to the place in our walk that we truly grasp everything this book talks about everything else will flow from that place. The book talks about having a heart of sonship, understanding how much He loves us, how much he wants us free, replacing the orphan heart for a heart of sonship it is just so good I highly recommend it!

Be in prayer for me as we close our time out in Nicaragua we are here for such a short time! We move onto Costa Rica next month where we also change teams for a gender month! I know that is going to be a sweet time! I love all of you and thank you for all you do!

  1. Hey Zach! It’s so good to hear from you! Our debrief time together was truly amazing. We loved every minute of it. Your freedom and growth in the Lord has been so beautiful to see. We’re so glad that Steph’s training was so fruitful also. Press into everything the Lord has for you in the spiritual disciplines your walking through. SONSHIP is such important revelation! We love you and are praying for you always!

  2. Continued prayers for you, your team and squad! I love about hearing everything that God is doing. Excited about Peru??
